Join us for an empowering 4-hour self-defense class led by the experienced instructor, Cari King. In this course, we will focus on fundamental open-hand self-defense techniques, ensuring that you feel confident and capable in close-quarters encounters.
Please note that this class does not involve the use of firearms. Instead, you will learn how to defend yourself through strikes, standing escapes, and effective ground defenses. Our priority is creating a safe and friendly environment where you can develop practical skills. While participation in the physical portion of the class is highly encouraged, it is not mandatory. We understand that everyone has their comfort level, and we respect individual choices.
Please come dressed comfortably, as this class involves physical activity. We recommend wearing athletic attire that allows for ease of movement. During the session, we will have a short break, so feel free to bring water and snacks as needed to keep yourself energized. Join us for an engaging and empowering class that will equip you with valuable skills for personal safety. Note: The minimum age for this class is 13 years old & must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
Cari King has been training in Martial Arts since 1996 and has been teaching Women’s Self Defense for 15 years. She has been studying with Rockpile Dojo for 10 years and currently holds a Brown Belt in Kenpo Karate and a Blue Belt in BJJ. Cari will discuss tools you can use to defend yourself in your surroundings, situational awareness, personal empowerment, and much more.
